Et tu, Brute?
The first typography project of second year. The brief was to design a light hearted ‘collectable publication' that would show a range of interesting typographical connections; exploring historical aspects or modern ones. After much exploration, I decided to focus on numerals; my aim was to produce a publication that would inform people of the evolution of numerals starting from as early as 20,000 BC.
The brief required me to produce a poster alongside the publication that would also be a collectable item. For this, I decided to bring together the different types of numerals representing a clock face. I used screen printing as this allowed me to achieve the colours and textures I wanted.
